Courses and Schedule

The Certificate in Spiritual Direction and Social Transformation has seven core modules:

  1. Contemplative Psychology and Spirituality
  2. Engaging the Christian Mystics
  3. Spirituality, Oppression, and Power
  4. The Practice of Spiritual Direction
  5. Group Spiritual Direction and Facilitation
  6. Socio-Spiritual Discernment
  7. Project Seminar

COURSE SCHEDULE

We follow a semester system with elections during January and Summer terms. Students in full enrollment must begin in the Fall.

Typically, fall semester begins the second week of September. Spring semester begins the second week of February. Summer courses schedules vary.

Unless otherwise stated, all courses are online via Zoom and Teachable.

Year A

August: New Cohort Orientation

Fall Semester (begins second week of September):

  • Contemplative Psychology & Spirituality (Tuesdays from 12-2pm Central)
  • Engaging the Mystics (Thursdays from 6-8pm Central)

J-Term (Electives)
